Corporate projects are our most popular area of production. Whether you are showcasing your new product or service or demonstrating how to install a widget, 3D animation is a powerful tool indeed. Not only should your message speak to those in the industry, it should also speak to those wishing to entering it, like investors - because who knows who's watching?

HONDA JAZZ online interactive campaign

jazz_online

Honda required a series of highly detailed and photo realistic 3D animations of talking cars to compliment their 'Jazz comes to town' campaign - the idea being that she left the village green in England where the campaign started in 2005 and now she's in the big city of London. The animation of the characters had to match the complexity of the animations and detailed renders of the current TVC spot which had a mammoth CG production level that even PIXAR would be proud of. AARONS CGI was required to produce animations ranging from a behind-the-scenes casting reel that introduced all the main characters from the TVC, as well as a variety of character loops for the various interactive web pages.

After the success of the campaign AARONS CGI also produced a special introduction to the agency's show reel featuring the sassy Jazz character herself.

RIO TINTO machine prototype/ animation

As we said at the start, being a relatively small 3D production facility AARONS CGI comes with an obvious benefit - less people knowing about your project means greater secrecy, all the way to handover time.

The global mining giant RIO TINTO required an animation for a confidential 3D scaled machine prototype. The process involved building an array of machines all working together with realistic animation, rendering and special visual effects. The final result was a highly detailed real-world animation of a specialised machine in full working order that could fully demonstrate its claims. The General manager of Recovery, Technology and Innovation at Rio Tinto [MrCG] summed up his response to the final work:

"Just a short note to thank you for your work on the [project]. It is a fantastic piece of work that has received compliments at the highest levels in the organisation. From our perspective, a most useful communication tool which saves a 'thousand words' and many Powerpoint slides..."

As you can see working with a small studio you can achieve big results whilst ensuring that your sensitive projects are kept as confidential as possible.

CLINUVEL UV skin treatment

Clinuvel Pharmaceuticals called upon AARONS CGI to produce a program that demonstrates a UV skin care treatment to potential investors in Australia and Europe. 3D animation was used to show how a tablet is absorbed into the skin and it's effectiveness in raising the skin's pigment level over time. The client also required a variety of prototypes to be modelled, as well as an exciting introduction that takes the viewer from the Sun to the surface of the Earth where we see a couple lying on a beach.

NORWOOD INDUSTRIES online animation

timed_release

Aarons CGI has produced an online 3d animation for Norwood Industries that will introduce their exciting new website (due September 2010). The company produces an array of printed products from paper to advanced plastics for what seems like just about every industry. Armed with plenty of imagination and a talent to get your attention, an animated folding aeroplane fitted the bill perfectly.

CATHOLIC HOMES Flying logo

A big part of computer animation is flying logos. At AARONS CGI we can take your existing logo and give it a whole new spin - Catholic Homes required that their logo literally fly into the screen. Their bird logo was modelled using their existing 2D design and was brought to life using 3D. Contact us today and see how we can add excitement to your most important marketing asset.

GROVE HOMES architectural presentation

AARONS CGI can also create architectural renderings. This school building project for a government client had to convey realistic sunlight to accurately foresee the effect of heat on student rooms at the hottest time of the day in summer time Melbourne, Australia on January 2010, at 2pm - precisely.

Explaining the inner-workings of a work boot to sales executives and internet visitors might seem mundane, but with 3D animation the structure of a shoe's sole can be seen as something fascinating. Here the client required an exciting visual representation of their latest sole design requiring the various components to be assembled over time. The animation is designed for retail executives and the internet.

The Australian Government required a forensic animation to recreate the infamous Lismore train accident in country Victoria 2006. The animation was used in court and helped determine the whether fog, the lack of crossing signals, or even the train's colour played a role in the crash.

PACIFIC DUNLOP Acoustic Foam Panels

Perhaps the most popular use of our 3D animation has been in the creation of product demonstration and installation. Pacific Dunlop produces specialized acoustic foam panels designed to improve sound quality in home theatres and recording studios and AARONS CGI was called upon to create a realistic home theatre and recording studio to demonstrate its benefits.

Edited sequence

As the primary target market is home theatre owners an idea was devised to explain the use of the acoustic panels in simple terms. The concept uses an analogy between sunlight hitting a projection screen and sound echoing around a room. By closing the curtains you reduce the light in the room much the same way as you would use foam panels to absorb sound waves bouncing around the room.

Blocked airway

The medical world is also taking advantage of the wonders of 3D animation. The Epworth Sleep Centre required a life-like representation of a patient suffering from Sleep Apnea - a severe form of snoring whereby the soft palate at the roof off the mouth relaxes along with the tongue to fall to the back of the throat thus cutting off air flow. The animation produced by AARONS CGI successfully depicts the process and more medical animation work is in the pipeline.

In the case of the GWC GROUP's trenchless pipeline project, a task arose to create a representation of a proposed pipeline to be installed between two major towns in Victoria for a trade-show video. Also, the TIC Group required 3D animation for their corporate video that demonstrates their asset management system. AARONS CGI is best at creating animation that adds interest as well as information.
